For over 30 years of war and suffering, the pain and outcry of the Cambodian people, the Cambodian-Americans, and Cambodian-Overseas alike would like to dedicate ourselves to fight for basic freedom and true democracy for Cambodia as follows:
To build a nation with true democracy with respect to the rule of law, basic human rights, and free of foreign exploitation. We, the Cambodian-Americans and the Cambodian-Overseas, take a solemn stance on this day, November Fifteen, Nineteen Ninety Eight to hold a union of trust, sincerity, and truth.
To unite all the Cambodian-Americans and the Cambodian-Overseas alike whose
vision is for a better future for the children of Cambodia and its beloved
motherland.
To strengthen the Sam Rainsy Party vision which stands for morality, truth and justice, true democracy, self-determinism, and equality for the people.
- Seek to influence U.S. and International community decisions on
Cambodian affairs
- Promote democracy in Cambodia
- Expand its membership
- Raise funds
- Ultimately assumes direct role in Cambodia
